about us原為劇場導演的 Ballboss 有著曲折的一生。出發去英國學動畫前收到學校通知說：「不好意思我們今年全面改為只教插畫囉」，因而被迫成為插畫家。將舞台搬上什麼都不會動的畫紙後，卻意外的絕處逢生。藉著對題材的獨特嗅覺與質樸的畫風，常賦予畫中故事一種幽默且臨場感十足的氣味。
「Ballboss & Stories 」即是一個具有這樣勇於顛覆一切媒材界線精神的跨界藝術品牌。目前以各種故事為主要的產出，形式跨足插畫、劇場與跨領域策展等。2016、17年間以其極具創見的跨界策展作品連兩年榮獲臺灣文化部年度文創之星殊榮，並於2016年獲邀為義大利波隆那插畫展臺灣館代表之一。 Originally a theater director, Ballboss has had a few twists and turns in his life. As he was preparing to study animation directing in the UK, he received notice from the school saying, "We are sorry to inform you that we have changed the entire curriculum to teaching illustration this year," forcing Ballboss to become an illustrator. Unexpectedly, when faced with moving from the stage to the page, Ballboss not only survived, but was able to bring a keen sense of style, narrative ability, and sense of humor.
After returning to Taiwan, Ballboss set up "Ballboss & Stories," putting out a variety of stories across a mix of theater, illustration, and exhibition formats. |
